Keira Knightley joins The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Tuesday (October 16), and gushes all about her 3-year-old daughter, Edie Knightley Righton!

Despite starring in multiple Disney franchises, like Pirates of the Caribbean and the upcoming Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Keira Knightley doesn't think all of the studio's movies send the best message to younger audiences.

Well, it's worked because instead of wanting to be a Disney princess, little Edie wants to be a lion when she grows up and Keira reveals "She roars very well".

While talking about the film, Knightley told Ellen that she is not a fan of every Disney movie, since there are a few that don't uphold her feminist values.

"Cinderella, banned because she just waits around for a rich guy to rescue her", Knightley says in the interview.

"Don't [wait around]. Rescue yourself. Hello?" she continued. "But I love'The Little Mermaid'so that one's a little tricky one, but no, I'm keeping to it".

"The Little Mermaid", which the actress actually admitted she liked because of the music, got the "X" because of how Ariel "gives up her voice for a man".

"'Frozen" is huge and "Moana' is totally fine".

Of course, Ellen is in full support of the Dory love, considering she has voiced the character in both Finding Nemo and Finding Dory.

Keira Knightley has some pretty strict rules when it comes to raising her daughter Edie.

Meanwhile Emma Keef, from York, allows her six-year-old daughter to watch the films, but has her reservations.

"She's banned from seeing certain children's movies, right?"

The mother also talked about her daughter's wild aspirations in life.
