APPLE HAS ANNOUNCED a 30 October launch event where it's expected to unveil new iPad Pros and new MacBooks.

What will Apple debut at its October special event? It appears it isn't done for the year as it has sent out invites for another event on October 30.

When Apple does finally give us some information about the new iPad Pros, we expect it to include a new bezel-free design akin to the iPhone X redesign, with Face ID also part of the equation.

And while we've seen plenty of leaks and heard plenty of rumors regarding the 2018 iPad Pro lineup, we're still waiting for Apple to officially announce the new devices.

Apple typically streams the event live on its website and on Apple TV. Further, a report that surfaced last night relays that a new Apple Pencil is in the works as well, with 9to5Mac reporting: "The new Apple Pencil will be paired with iPad Pro by proximity, much like AirPods or HomePod". This will mark the first Apple product introduction to take place in NY since the company unveiled its digital textbooks service in 2012.

Specifically, Apple is rumored to be adopting an iPhone X-like design, with minimized bezels and dropping the physical Home button.

The new iPad Pros are likely to see an edge-to-edge display, Face ID and other incremental improvements. We'll keep you posted on these details as we learn them, but will be bringing you all the latest from the event on the day.

The Tim Cook-led company is holding a separate event to launch iPad Pros and Macs. There's also the Mac mini, which has not been updated since 2014.
