Prince Harry hugs fan India Brown as he arrives at Government Drive.

"Harry said "it took me not six months, but 18 months to find the right person to speak to; you're not going to find the right person to speak to straight away".

About halfway up Prince Harry stopped at India Brown who had a sign emblazoned with "Been here since 4am, loved you since I was 8", reducing her to shakes and tears.

Prince Harry was fascinated by an Aussie lifeguard's big feet. "But the Duke said there's never too many bananas".

The royals' 16-day tour also includes visits to New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji.
