"In addition to uniquely Disney station designs that complement their surroundings, support towers have been popping up across Walt Disney World Resort and will soon be connected with a series of reinforced cables to carry guests in stylish themed gondolas", the blog said.

Now unnamed, Disney says the Vacation Club hotel will be "nature inspired" and open in 2022. It will have 900 hotel rooms as well as villas for Disney's timeshare program.

"We continue to add new attractions, new lands - and these attractive accommodations will be right in the heart of all that magic", George A. Kalogridis, president of Walt Disney World Resort, said in the release. The resort will sit between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on the shoreline of Bay Lake.

Guests will also be able to enjoy rooftop dining at a specialty table-service restaurant with panoramic views. Its accommodations will boast an outdoorsy theme - and it's set to be the 16th Disney Vacation Club. This will be the 15th Disney Vacation Club property.

We previously shared speculation that Walt Disney World would potentially be adding something in the area where River Country used to be.

Near Epcot, Disney's Riviera Resort is expected to open in 2019.

What do you think of the newly announced Resort? The completely immersive destination will bring guests into a "Star Wars" story, where they'll become citizens of the galaxy, interact with characters, and dress in proper "Star Wars" attire. Let us know in the comments!
