Mukesh Chhabra has tweeted in support of Sushant Singh Rajput and suggested "somebody else's ulterior motive" behind the reports. While Sanjana, who will be making her big screen acting debut with the film, has not yet spoken on the matter, Sushant shared his side of the story with screenshots of a conversation between him and Sanjana. People using this much required campaign for their personal agenda is too much to ignore. Sushant on Friday tweeted snapshots of his conversation with Sanjana from the first day to the last day of the film's shoot. "I feel sad to reveal personal information but it seems that there is no other way to state what was, in the midst of this curated and well timed smear campaign".

The rumours of Sushant Singh Rajput's behaviour on the sets of the Mukesh Chhabra film first appeared in a blind item a few months ago, wherein it was stated that the heroine of a film even complained to her mother and the director about the lead actor.

There have been speculations that Sushant had lost his verified badge on Twitter following the accusations. "I let you decide", he wrote in a tweet shared on Thursday night.

Finally to put all these rumours to rest, the actor took to his Twitter handle to clarify these reports and here's what he had to say. As a result, the shooting of this 'Fault In Our Stars' adaptation had come to a standstill. Refuting allegations, he had released a statement on Twitter on October 12 saying, "It is very unfortunate that years of hard work and building is been muzzled with a series of unsubstantiated wild anonymous allegations".

A report published in DNA on August 22 had alleged that Sushant had become "extra friendly" with Sanjana on the film's sets, leaving her uncomfortable.

Many got stunned to see Sushant's name in that, and before that, director of Kizie Aur Manny, popular casting director Mukesh Chabra, got sacked from the project temporarily after he also faced a couple of such allegations. "Get your facts checked before jumping to conclusions that you so eagerly want to", he wrote. He clarified the move with a Twitter post today.
