Assassin's Creed Odyssey's first live event was suppose to start on October 16, 2018, but Ubisoft had been experiencing technical issues when it came to getting things going.

We'd finally given up by the time Ubisoft announced yesterday afternoon the live event had been ditched.

The official Assassin's Creed Twitter account last night tweeted, "Rumor has it that Damais bailed at the very last minute". These events will be accessible to players who are at level 30 or higher and reward players with experience and epic/legendary rewards.

Needless to say, this was a pretty amusing way for Ubisoft to break the news to fans and it's something that we'd love to see more from the industry. This can be spent at a merchant named Sargon at the Oikos of the Olympians.

Players can also spend Orichalcum on items offered from the store. "They will be identifiable by the blue Orichalcum emblem next to the quest name".

Like events in other Ubisoft games, such as Far Cry 5, events are timed and will rotate back again.

Assassin's Creed Rebellion brings together a full roster of legendary characters, including Ezio, Aguilar, Shao Jun, Claudia and Machiavelli, with more than 20 new unlockable characters exclusively created for the game. "Keep an eye on the Aegean Sea from Oct 23rd", a second tweet read.
