Days Gone comes out for PlayStation 4 on 26 April 2019.

There it's claimed that Days Gone has been moved because of the "crowded February timeframe" and will use the extra time to "further polish" the game.

We want to share a change in release date for this highly anticipated title from Bend Studio. Today, the developer, alongside publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment, announced that the title has been delayed by a little more than a month, to April 26, 2019.

It seems like its really been quite some time since we first heard about post-apocalyptic biker title Days Gone, which is now in development for PS4 over at Bend Studios.

As PlayStation fans already know, Days Gone is an open-world action game set in the high-desert of the Pacific Northwest. If the premise sounds familiar, that's because it's similar to a number of different properties.

Sony Bend's PS4 post-apocalyptic zombie survival title Days Gone has been delayed once again.

The blog post also provided details of when the likes of Deracine and Everybody's Golf VR will launch, but it didn't go so far as providing a release date for Media Molecule's innovative game-creating effort Dreams. Sony's very good at making sure that its first party games are good though, which is probably why they're taking feedback from shows like E3 and internal testing, and giving Days Gone a bit of polish. The added polish is just icing on the cake.

Sony Bend doesn't seem to be taking any similar chances with Days Gone.

If Days Gone had stuck to its original release date it would've been coming out on exactly the same day as Anthem and Metro Exodus, with Crackdown 3 also rumoured to be out at the same time.
