Protesters from both sides of the aisle expressed their anger to lawmakers this week, with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) becoming the latest targets.

TMZ reports it happened at a Louisville restaurant.

"Let's make sure we show up wherever we have to show up and if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere", Waters said.

TMZ obtained video (watch above) of a man appearing to shout at McConnell, "Why don't you get out of here?"

A group argued with McConnell and his wife, Elaine Chao, about several issues.

Someone else can be heard yelling "Ditch Mitch!" The outlet reported that four men first confronted McConnell.

The same man had taken a container of leftover food off the couple's table and tossed it outside the restaurant moments earlier, the woman who filmed the footage told the website. McConnell reportedly later thanked some of the supporters and shook their hands. "Chao enjoyed their meal in Louisville last night and they appreciate those who spoke up against incivility", a McConnell spokesman said in a statement.

Popp continued, "They hope other patrons weren't too inconvenienced by left-wing tantrums. As the leader often says, the Senate will not be intimidated by the antics of far-left protesters". Chao stood up to the protesters and told them to "leave my husband alone".

Protesters previously confronted the senator at a restaurant during the summer.
