Instead of appearing alongside Harry in Sydney to present medals in the cycling event of his Invictus Games, sources said Meghan chose to sit it out and pare down her role in the upcoming days' schedule.

By the afternoon Meghan was dressed down for the fast paced event on the Harbour. Harry encouraged the mom-to-be to slow down since she was feeling exhausted.

The couple and their entourage took a rib out to a yacht - a 40-foot Hanse 400 model - where they met an American couple who were cheering on their son.

The Duke and Duchess then disembarked the yacht and got back in their rib.

According to People, Markle has had her 12-week ultrasound and is "feeling well" so far.

Kensington Palace said the royal couple had moved to reduce Meghan's schedule ahead of their visit to Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand in the second phase of their tour.

On Sunday, Prince Harry attended an engagement by himself without Meghan by his side as she rested at home.

The Duke of Sussex encouraged his pregnant wife to slow down after she felt exhausted when the opening of the Invictus Games overran by almost two hours, royal sources said.

'We have to try to pace her. Meghan loves children and she and Harry have been talking about wanting a family from the start. She had a very late night last night.

The tour is an extremely busy one, with the royal couple scheduled to attend more than 70 engagements during a 16-day trip across four countries.

After a whirlwind week which saw Meghan and Prince Harry attend a number of engagements following the announcement she was pregnant with her first child, Kensington Palace said the couple have made a decision to "cut back" on the Duchess of Sussex's schedule.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 36, is a fan of trainers by Italian brand Superga.
