According to early predictions of Badhaai Ho, the film will collect Rs 5 to 6 crore on day 1. Taking a 60% jump after that with INR 11.96 crores on Friday and now adding a whopping 12.50 crores to the kitty on its first Saturday, Badhaai Ho has already earned INR 31.46 crores at the box office within the first three days of release.

Sanya Malhotra and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhaai Ho clashed with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's Namaste England, which unfortunately failed to do wonders at the ticket window. Although, both the films were scheduled to hit the theatres on October 19 but the makers chose to release it one day prior due to Dussehra. "Has sensational extended weekend", tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh about the film centered on a young man embarrassed with his elderly mother's pregnancy.

In Australia too, the film is 'raking big numbers.' Mr Adarsh also listed the box office figures of some of Ayushmann Khurrana's films in Australia, including the recently-released AndhaDhun. However, the film helmed by Amit Sharma is expected to grow owing to the favourable reviews from critics and audiences. The box office collections do not include earnings from Madhya Pradesh as the theatres there are on strike.

Ayushmann Khurrana is on a roll. Despite being released alongside Namaste England, which is a much bigger film in terms of stars cast and budget, Badhai Ho came out as a clear victor in the box office run.
