Red Dead Redemption 2 rumored PC version surfaces once again

Dutch website TechTastic spotted a Red Dead Redemption 2 PC listing on Media Markt's Swedish website on Friday, carrying a release date of December 31, 2019. Unfortunately, though, the retailer has confirmed that the listing was only a placeholder and not confirmation of a PC version. Be that as it may, the retailer has now removed the option to pre-order from the listing. On Xbox One, Red Dead Redemption 2's file size is 88.1 GB, so expect similar sizes on PlayStation 4. Throughout these past two years, Rockstar fans who claim PC as their primary gaming platform have been hoping that the company would announce a PC version of RDR 2, but with the Xbox One and PS4 launches practically staring us in the face, such an announcement is nowhere to be seen.

While it seems like somewhat of an unspoken trend for Rockstar games to be released on console first, numerous publisher's biggest titles have received PC releases, albeit sometime later. Is this just a stunt to drive more clicks to the retailer's site?

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be here soon and players are trying to prepare themselves for the new life in the Wild West by preloading the game ahead of its release.

It's no surprise that people are closely watching for any signs for Red Dead Redemption 2, what will probably be the biggest game of the year. We got a first look at those discs recently with the PlayStation 4 packaging opened to show a "Data Disc" and a "Play Disc" the data one used first to install the game and the second inserted afterwards to play it.
