Ontario Lottery and Gaming says one of seven $1-million Maxmillions tickets was sold in London, though it was not disclosed immediately where the winning ticket was sold.

Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $4.4 billion, including 60 jackpot wins and 491 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province.

There are two new millionaires in Canada after last night's $7 million jackpot saw two winning tickets. Eight tickets purchased in Quebec, British Columbia and the Maritimes matched five of the six numbers plus the bonus to collect $29,182 each.

Two second-prize winning tickets, worth $524,295.20, were sold in the Niagara Falls area and Toronto.

The jackpot for the next Friday's Lotto Max draw will remain at approximately $60 million, but the number of $1-million Maxmillions offered will increase to 55.
