Post the Zero trailer launch, it seems that everything is favouring in Shah Rukh Khan's way.

BJP MLA from Delhi, Manjinder S Sirsa, has filed a police complaint demanding action against the makers of Zero for allegedly hurting the sentiments of Sikhs. In the statement, the makers have made it clear that Shah Rukh is not wearing a Kirpan but a dagger popularly known as Katar in the Indian subcontinent. Sirsa has complained to CBFC as well. The latest stars to get the point are Shah Rukh Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.

In the complaint, Sirsa alleged that in the promo of the film, Shah Rukh has been shown wearing "Gatra Kirpan" (Article of Sikh Faith) in their film promo which has created an outrage among Sikh community worldwide. As the film is one of the anticipated films of the year, it is more exciting for the makers and the cast that Zero is getting a solo release during Christmas.

He further said that the community can not tolerate that any film star or the film itself shows the Sikh tenants or articles of faith in a bad light.

They further added, "The film is about celebrating incompleteness and to tell a heartfelt story. We trust you (MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa) will appreciate our stand that any concern this may have caused is completely inadvertent", the statement continued to read. Katrina Kaif, on the other hand, will play a actress who is battling alcoholism. And now, actor - producer Riteish Deshmukh, who was releasing his Marathi venture Mauli on the same date with Zero (December 21) has agreed to change the release date, which means Zero will now enjoy a solo release.
