The Spice Girls have stepped out together for the first time since announcing their thrilling six-date United Kingdom comeback tour on Wednesday.

Geri Horner suggested there might be more dates "if Mel B behaves herself". The "When We Were Young" hitmaker shared a picture of her much-younger self, smiling broadly while surrounded by Spice Girls posters.

The tour begin on June 1 at Manchester's Etihad Stadium, then Coventry's Ricoh Stadium two days later, the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on June 6, BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on June 8, Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium on June 10, and end on June 15 at London's Wembley Stadium.

However, the band did not respond to Evans' assertion that he "knew for a fact that you've put some stadiums on hold".

ITV lunchtime programme Loose Women welcomed back Mel B to the Loose Women studio panel and the rest of the presenters were eager to quiz her on the latest updates for the tour news.

The tour doesn't start till summer next year so let's be optimistic and hope The Spice Girls release at least one new song in the upcoming months.

During their radio appearances on Wednesday, the girls confirmed that it had been Mel B who had been the driving force behind the reunion.

Geri, who quit the group back in 1998, gushed: 'I am so excited, together we celebrate girl power with our fans and the next generation and everyone is welcome! "I dream about it on a regular basis".

Mel C said she had initially resisted reforming the group but had eventually relented.

"Tickets come out on Friday", she shared, before panicking: "Oh, was I supposed to say that?" "But you just feel different as time goes by".

Maybe she can fill in for Victoria Beckham!?
