Pamela Anderson has said that she thinks the #MeToo movement is "too much", and that it "paralyses men".

The campaign began in late 2017 to give a voice and platform to victims of sexual misconduct and assault across various industries but Pamela revealed that her "mother taught me, don't go to a hotel with a stranger".

Many celebrities have praised the movement, and the subsequent Time's Up movement, for shedding light on these issues, but former Baywatch Pamela has dismissed them, as she believes they've gone too far.

"I'm a feminist, but I think that this third wave of feminism is a bore", she said on Australian news show 60 Minutes.

In fact, she thinks that this is crystallized in the #MeToo movement.

She also suggested that feminism "paralyses men" and that the ideology has become a "bore".

"The quote exclusively related to my hope that a handful of false testimonies out of a tsunami of heroic voices do not serve to dilute the importance of the #MeToo movement, and all of us who champion it". "If someone opens the door in a bathrobe and it's supposed to be a business meeting, maybe I should go with somebody else".

'I'm going to really hate myself for saying this, but I think by women speaking against all these things, it makes them look weak when they are very strong women, ' she said.

Anderson warned women to use "common sense". "I'll probably get killed for that".

"Or, if you go in [to a hotel room], get the job."
I'm Canadian, I'm going to speak my mind.

Anderson added, "I'm sorry".

"I'd rather be a sex symbol than a ... not a sex symbol. That's a compliment, isn't it?" Every girl wants to be, you know, as attractive or pretty as they can be.

"However, I have since learned how statements like mine are seen as hurtful, which was never my intent. I always thought of myself as kinda cute, a little amusing, and maybe I've improved with age".
