Developer Grinding Gear Games' audience only further increased when it debuted on Xbox One a year ago, and now that the [possible token timed exclusivity] is up, it's coming to PS4.

Path of Exile is coming to PS4 this December. The trailer can be found below.

According to Grinding Gear Games, "Private Leagues will be fun for content creators who want to create an entertaining stream or video by playing Path of Exile on obscenely hard settings, potentially alongside members of their communities".

We are proud to announce that Path of Exile is coming to @PlayStation 4! "Check out the PlayStation trailer below!" What's more, the game will be arriving just in time for the holidays, alongside a new update for existing versions of Exile.

Path Of Exile's options for spending real money have been limited to cosmetics and some stash sorting tools until now.

The game has already been a huge success on PC and Xbox One, where it has drummed up more than 16 million players worldwide.

The 3.5.0 expansion does not have an official name, nor do we have any details on what is included.

Next week you'll be able to pay to run private leagues in Path of Exile and add mods to make the game absurdly hard. If so, are you excited for its launch on PlayStation 4?
