Blizzard is working on multiple mobile games 'across all our IPs'

Blizzard has received a ton of push back from fans over the idea of a Diablo mobile game, but if you count yourself among the people who are disappointed, you might want to buckle in. Diablo Immortal, a mobile spin-off, was met with a lukewarm reception, but it sounds like a much more tantalizing reveal is in the works.

"Some of them are with external partners like with Diablo: Immortal". The publication adds that the game is definitely in development, but as it's gone through so many changes over the years-at least two different iterations under different directors-and may change further, Blizzard isn't yet ready to unveil it officially.

For those that missed the initial announcement, "Diablo Immortal takes the series' dark, gothic fantasy world of Sanctuary and inimitable Diablo gameplay, and puts it in your pocket", said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment.

Adham went onto say that Blizzard has "more new products in development today" than it's ever had in its history, so hopefully that means that there's plenty of room for traditional PC games on the company's development schedule.

Adham said Blizzard made a decision to create a mobile version of Diablo (and, I would assume, other games that have yet to be announced) because mobile technology now enables a degree of fidelity that's comparable to PC and console gaming.

While Blizzard denies that any game reveal was pulled from Blizzcon, they don't outright dispute the claim that the video exists. "We do continue to have different teams working on multiple unannounced Diablo projects, and we look forward to announcing when the time is right", said the company, in a statement. "We generally don't comment on rumors or speculation, but we can say that we didn't pull any announcements from BlizzCon this year or have plans for other announcements". "The future is bright".
