"Manu is back and progressing well - we're cautiously optimistic he'll be available this week", England's Australian coach Eddie Jones said.

Tuilagi will forever be remembered for his dazzling display in the 38-21 triumph over the All Blacks at Twickenham in 2012.

'I was gutted when he pulled out, but it was a tiny niggle.

"He's got a fantastic future ahead of him", Borthwick said.

"He's in great physical shape and unfortunately had an injury a year ago that ruled him out when he was going well, but he's an excellent player". I'm really pleased he's able to get back out there.

"We know what a world-class operator Manu is", Youngs told Sky Sports.

"He's looking good in training but I don't make those decisions if he plays or not, I just know what he's capable of and I'm sure if he's given the opportunity that he would be able to certainly give us a lot of go-forward and be a key cog to this team".

Courtney Lawes is also available having overcome a back problem that forced him to miss the same match, while there is no concern about the bang to the hip Owen Farrell took on Saturday.

The Sale flanker limped off in the second half of Saturday's 12-11 victory at Twickenham and after having the joint scanned, it was confirmed he is facing an extended spell on the sidelines.

New Zealand will take on Ireland in Dublin on November 18, and conclude their tour of the northern hemisphere with a trip to Rome to face Italy on November 25.

Some England players may doubt how well known they are to their Kiwi opponents, but Youngs is only too aware of the damage the world champions can cause. He had no idea!'. You know against New Zealand you're going to have to score tries, simply trying to slot penalties probably isn't going to be enough because of the threat they pose.

Youngs says England are confident they have the ability to produce another memorable victory.
