Teams Interested in Trading for Celtics Terry Rozier

I love Terry, but he is only going to be a bench player in Boston.

Celtics point guard Terry Rozier enjoyed a breakout in 2017-18 in the wake of Kyrie Irving's season-ending injury.

With Irving back in the fold, however, 2018 has been a different story. This season, he's averaging 7.5 points, 2.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game in 10 contests. Since the season started we've heard relatively little about teams' pursuit of Butler, aside from the Rockets attempting to get him with a package including four first round picks.

Elsewhere in Boston, with Kyrie Irving verbally committing to a return and a new deal with the Celtics, the franchise will eventually have to face a hard decision when it comes to the possible lucrative restricted free agency of Terry Rozier. From Ainge roasting Rozier on Twitter to Rozier FaceTimeing Ainge to see who the Celtics were drafting moments before they took Robert Williams, it seems clear the two have a good relationship. The Boston Celtics have a boatload of talent on their roster, and it seems like other teams are trying to see if Boston wants to get rid of some players, specifically Terry Rozier. The Suns have been the most aggressive in that regard, having started pursuing him even before firing general manager Ryan McDonough on October 8.

Rozier is set to become a restricted free-agent following the 2018/19 season after not signing a rookie-scale extension prior to the season getting underway.

Bill Simmons also believes Rozier will be traded.

No team more so however, than the Phoenix Suns.

The Boston Celtics are 6-4, boast one of the deepest rosters in the National Basketball Association and are arguably the favorite to win the Eastern Conference this year.
