Manchester City v Manchester United

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola described old foe Jose Mourinho as a "good guy" ahead of this weekend's Manchester derby. "You can't even talk about luck, because you have to find your own luck and in this case we just gifted it to them". For sure it is an important game, like any other one, because we are playing for three points and we want to win every time we play in the Premier League or any other competition.

"After that, of course, there is a quality of the work, of the organisation".

"But what is behind I can not say but in this moment I have only to think about football, and to think about football is to think about Manchester City as a football team there".

"It's a fantastic victory for us, a victory that is not just about the points we lost at home but the feeling of how well we played", said Mourinho.

Allegations of financial impropriety off the field couldn't derail Manchester City moving to the brink of the Champions League last 16 as Gabriel Jesus scored a hat-trick in a 6-0 thrashing of Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday. "I don't think that's the way to look at the match".

"We have to just think about the match, it is hard enough by an isolated event".

Dybala wasn't the only player to talk after the match.

"They are a very good team with very good players, so you have to be on your toes all the time and can't relax for a second".

Manchester United will give a fitness test to Romelu Lukaku, who has missed their last two league and cup games with an unspecified injury.

The striker has missed the last two games with a muscle problem but has returned to training and could be included in the squad for Sunday's derby.

Mourinho made no mention of Pogba's injury during an MUTV interview this morning.

"We have to play good, only one challenge in football is to play good, and have more chance to win".
