Quoting a source in the Turkish attorney general's office, Al Jazeera said, "The killers dissolved the journalist's dismembered body in acid in one of the rooms at Mohammed al Otaibi's residence".

A United States democratic congressman will introduce a bill in the House of Representatives that would severely limit nuclear technology trade with Saudi Arabia, according to a Vox report on Friday. "They all know since they all listened to the conversations and everything", he said in a televised speech.

There has been an increase in growing bipartisan support to punish Riyadh over the death of Jamal Khashoggi.

The bill would come as a huge blow for Saudi who just last Monday launched a project to build the country's first nuclear research reactor.

So far, 18 people, including security officers, have been arrested in Saudi Arabia in connection with the murder.

Erdoğan also criticized the stance of Saudi authorities.

The official said the chemist and toxicologist were tasked with erasing evidence before Turkish investigators were given access to the Saudi consulate and consul's residence.

Erdoğan also called on Saudi officials to do their part to reveal the unanswered parts of the dissident journalist's murder. President Donald Trump has reiterated he does not want to jeopardise money coming into the U.S. from Saudi Arabia.

After weeks of denying involvement, the kingdom admitted Khashoggi had been killed at the consulate but claimed the Saudi royal family had no prior knowledge of a plot to murder him.

According to Turkish public prosecutor Irfan Fidan, Khashoggi was "strangled as soon as he entered the consulate" in sync with "premeditated plans" and that his body was "subsequently destroyed by being dismembered, once again confirming the planning of the murder". "When we go to Paris, we will try to secure an opportunity and we will realise a bilateral meeting", Erdogan said ahead of his departure.
