The Apple-Amazon deal will offer up newer devices directly from Apple, like the iPad Pro, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, Apple Watch Series 4, and Beats headphones.

The deal includes Apple and Beats devices, according to CNET (though not all products, as the Apple HomePod won't be sold), and it affect both the U.S. and United Kingdom, along with several other European countries, Japan, and India.

The new Amazon deal, first spotted by CNET, will limit the sellers of new and used Apple products on Amazon to Apple-authorized resellers.

The two companies have occasionally been at odds over the sale of Apple devices.

Prior to the agreement, just a limited selection of Apple devices were available directly through Amazon.

As for what the new arrangement means for existing third-party sellers, they will reportedly have to "apply with Apple to become authorized resellers on Amazon".

Amazon is signing a deal with Apple to expand its collection of Cupertino's hardware.

Amazon said today its website will now offer the most-recent iPhones - including the XS and XS Max, introduced in September - as well as iPad, Mac computer, Apple Watch and Apple TV models.

In 2016, Apple filed a lawsuit against Amazon alleging that the online retailer was selling counterfeit Apple products on its web store. "We look forward to expanding our assortment of Apple and Beats products globally", said an Amazon spokesperson in a statement to CNET. Does making it available on Amazon make it easier to get your shopping done?

This could wind up being a big win for Apple, since using Amazon as an official channel for sales puts its devices in front of a ton of people. Independent sellers with Apple inventory will have their listings removed after January 4, 2019.
