Steelers send Ravens to devastating loss

In each of the last two years, the Baltimore Ravens have been eliminated from playoff contention with late-season losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Roethlisberger put Pittsburgh ahead with a 7-yard touchdown pass to Conner, and the Steelers made it 14-3 on a 6-yard TD catch by Antonio Brown.

Baltimore's latest loss is its third in a row, and now sitting at 4-5 on the season the Ravens are focused on getting healthy with a bye week on the horizon.

"I've never been somebody that ever anxious about keeping a job", Harbaugh said after the game, via ProFootballTalk. "It's always been, for me, doing the job".

Meanwhile, Harbaugh has been coaching the Ravens for 11 years.

The Steelers won their fourth straight and sit atop the AFC North at 5-2-1.

The Ravens looked sensational in a 21-0 win over Tennessee on October 14. Pittsburgh still has tough matchups against the Panthers, Chargers, Patriots, Bengals and Saints.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is reportedly coaching for his future with the franchise. "It's great to get an AFC North road victory under those circumstances".

"They kept us on the field for a lot of long drives, just grinding us down", defensive end Brent Urban said.

No running back on the Steelers roster has more than ten carries other than James Conner, showing off the confidence instilled in the second-year man out of Pitt. He did not look for a wide-open Lamar Jackson in the end zone on a drive that ended with a field goal, and wide receiver Michael Crabtree could not bring in a would-be touchdown pass that Flacco led him too far on.

Baltimore Ravens rookie offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. has delivered in his first start at home.

Tomlin had his Steelers team punt on a 4th and 6 from inside the Ravens' 40-yard line early in the first quarter. Joshua Dobbs came in, completed a 22-yard pass to JuJu Smith-Schuster, then gave way to Roethlisberger.

When asked whether the team has to make a few changes to create a spark, Flacco replied: "No I don't".

Roethlisberger wore the cleats - which feature the words "Stronger Than Hate" and the Star of David inside the Steelers' logo - while hugging each teammate during team stretching, his ritual for every game. "It's Baltimore. Pick one, or all of the above", Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin said. We know if we take care of our business, things will work out for themselves. "Take care of business".
