"Show them." Disney has revealed their first full-length, official trailer for the live-action Dumbo movie, about the little elephant who can fly.

While Burton first made waves with dark and unusual films like Batman and Beetlejuice, he's actually been working within the realm of family/children's films for quite some time now (from Alice in Wonderland to Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children), and he seems quite comfortable here in Dumbo.

The House of Mouse dropped the new footage during CMT's Country Music Awards on Wednesday, November 14, giving audiences everywhere the best look yet at director Tim Burton's reimagining of the 1941 animated classic. Holt and his two young children, Joe (Finley Hobbins) and Milly (Nico Parker), soon find out that Dumbo is no average elephant: his butterfly wing-like ears grant him the ability to fly - just the kind of attraction the struggling circus needs to become popular and profitable again. Step right up and see the new big top-inspired poster featuring the cast.

"You have something very rare", Vandevere says in the trailer, a hint of grandiosity in his voice.

The film follows Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) as they try to transform a failing circus with a charismatic entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton) being prepared to do anything to transform it.

Also, not to be all "in this political moment", but Dumbo is a story about family separation and there's no way that it's not going to make you cry.

It remains to be seen how numerous original film's iconic songs will make it into the new version (and, for that matter, whether the reasonably racist crows get a dusting off). Directed by Tim Burton, it is scheduled to hit theaters on March 29, 2019.
