You have to install the QQ app that is used for official communication for bugs and features. Since the Redmi Note 4 was listed in the second batch of devices to receive MIUI 10 Global Stable update in India so we can expect other devices in the list also to be updated soon. But Xiaomi is known for doing such things. To recall, the Redmi Note 3 received MIUI 9 stable update earlier this year, but it was based on Android Marshmallow.

The same is continuing with the Redmi Note 4 and Redmi Note 4X this year.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro shares the same base hardware as its predecessor, but there's a new dual 20MP + 2MP camera system at the front along with a larger 6.26-inch display and a cutout. In a matter of six months, the company sold over five million units of Redmi Note 4 in the sub-continent. There may be more than one storage variant for the Indian smartphone market.

To recall, the Redmi Note 4 was released in India with MIUI 8-based on Android Marshmallow. So with MIUI 9 update late a year ago, Xiaomi bumped the Android version to Android 7.0 Nougat. There's a new Driving Mode that takes advantage of Xiaomi's virtual assistant to control the smartphone in the vehicle and users can safely navigate to a location and reply to messages without touching the phone.

Up-to-date global firmware, MIUI 10, isn't yet ready for the United Kingdom yet - although Xiaomi told us it will be forthcoming soon. If you're a Redmi Note 4 user, watch out for an update to appear on your smartphone. Today, the company has revealed at least one of these phones is going to be a Note series phone, which is nearly certain to be the Redmi Note 6 Pro that was earlier launched in global markets.

As a reminder, Xiaomi launched the new Redmi Note 6 Pri in Thailand in a single configuration.

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is going to launch a new smartphone in India on November 22.
