Amy Schumer Hospitalized for Pregnancy Issues, Cancels Stand-Up Show

Earlier today, Amy Schumer took to social media to post a pic of herself on a hospital bed and apologized to her fans for the fact that she would not make it to her tour stop in Dallas, Texas!

'I have hyperemesis, and it really blows. They are cool as hell! The "Trainwreck" star says she's suffering from a complication related to her pregnancy, but assures fans that she and her baby are "fine".

On Wednesday, the comedienne attended a Times Up event with the organization's CEO Lisa Borders, Cindi Leive, Opal Ayo Tometi and others.

Parents-to-be: The 37-year-old and husband Chris Fischer are expecting their first child together.

Hopefully, she'll feel better soon!

Earlier this month, Schumer complained that pregnancy has been hard, saying during a show, "I don't like it". I've had a really tough pregnancy so far'.

She quipped: 'You know who it's not fun to be pregnant at the same time as?

However, last week, she had an awesome response to seeing her baby kick on a sonogram.

Schumer announced her pregnancy in October, via her friend Jessica Yellin's Instagram account.

Hyperemesis is a severe form of morning sickness that effects 200,000 women a year, causing chronic nausea, vomiting, weight loss and electrolyte imbalance.

While there is no single cure for HG, the Cleveland Clinic says symptoms can be helped by eating small, frequent meals, wearing pressure-point wristbands, taking anti-nausea medicine, and, in the most severe cases, getting nutrients delivered through an IV (called total parenteral nutrition, or TPN).

HG's cause was thought to be hormonal, however, research suggests it may be due to genetic variations.
