The 28-year-old's new music comes after he announced that a new album is set to be released early next year.

The Irish singer Got released a new video for the song Movement, the main role it performs Ukrainian dancer Sergei Polunin.

After a lengthy stretch spent touring and writing songs, Hozier returned with an EP called Nina Cried Power earlier this fall; it draws on a broad swath of vintage protest music, and even brings in Mavis Staples to sing on the title track. It's also likely the inspiration for the video went both ways; Hozier's lyrics reference movement both literal and figurative, including a woman dancing like "Fred Astaire in sequins", as Polunin interprets his song through ballet. The dance is choreographed by Polunin himself and directed by Chris Barrett and Luke Taylor. The new video notably gives Polunin, who's appeared in four movies since "Take Me to Church" helped him gain notoriety outside the ballet world, a chance to demonstrate his acting talents.

There has always been a lingering connection between Hozier and Polunin.

"I was first confronted by Sergei's talent when I saw a performance of his set to my music in collaboration with David LaChapelle". The clip from the documentary "Dancer" caught the attention of a wide range of audiences and has accumulated over 25 million views on Youtube.
