Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will have the biggest display yet

The Galaxy S10 series of Android flagships will feature "genuinely bezel-less OLED panels", South Korean outlet TheElec reports, citing insiders close to the world's largest smartphone maker. We have already seen a lot of renders, rumours, leaks and speculations about the Galaxy S10 and the stream doesn't seem to be stopping.

The Galaxy S10 shown in the patent has done away with the bezels that usually border the top and bottom of the display on Samsung's devices.

Today, a patent from Samsung depicts possible designs for future models that all adopt the Infinity-O model that Samsung announced during its recent developer conference: this model is a full display with rounded corners and a single circular cutout to let the camera see through the glass. The front-facing camera innovation is primarily being attributed to Samsung Electronics Sister Company Samsung Display that internally refers to it as a "Hole in Active Area" solution, insiders claim. It was quite the ambitious patent application-it even mentioned a "hologram device" being present.

The submission, which consists exclusively of the above images and diagrams, shows a number of proposed Samsung Galaxy S10 designs, many of which sport a small hole in top left corner of the screen. The images show a distinct punch-hole in the upper-left corner. Interestingly, notorious leaker and inside man Evan Blass (@evleaks on Twitter) posted a few preliminary details about the Galaxy S10, including a "punch-hole style selfie cam cutout". The Galaxy S10 line is also expected to once again feature an under-screen LED indicator. A lot of them have a punch-hole, with the only discernible difference being the corners.

Samsung is looking into a number of patents and handset designs.

All will be revealed sometime next year, probably around Mobile World Congress.
