"We've brought #Fallout76 offline for scheduled maintenance", announced the developers on Twitter. Stay tuned for the official Patch Notes November 19 Update. No timeframe was provided regarding when the Fallout 76 servers will be online again, but the tweet below said nobody would be able to log in or play while maintenance is being conducted.

Fallout 76 is available now for PC and consoles.

There's no word on how long server maintenance will last, but even when the game does return, most fans will be unable to play.

Sadly, the official Fallout 76 Patch Notes for the November 19 Patch was not provided. This is the update that Bethesda says will improve the game's performance, so let's hope that the near constant stuttering and ridiculously low frame rates are eradicated with it installed. The patch is said to be "large" and notes will be posted soon. While you've likely obliterated any potential data caps already, there's good news on the horizon, with Bethesda stating future updates "should be much smaller in comparison".

There will also be some fixes applied to quests, the UI and more, but we'll have to wait until the full patch notes go live before we know any more.

"We believe we have some ideas in both the short and long-term that will address the size without risking stability, but this is one we need to take our time on to make sure it is done right".

Also coming in the update will be a Push-to-Talk feature for the PC, for those who aren't comfortable with the game's current communication methods, allowing you, and others, to hear every nearby conversation.
