I'm A Celebrity.Get Me Out of Here! made its very welcome return to our screens this evening, and instantly made a meme out of Harry Redknapp.

Declan Donnelly has spilled the beans about the emotional moment Holly Willoughby was shown the I'm A Celeb camp for the first time.

Fans gushed over the 37-year-old presenter's appearance on the show and praised her for "stepping into Ant's shoes" for the series.

Instead, This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby stepped in to co-host the show.

"Like you watch this on telly, it's been part of my life for years and suddenly you're here".

He said: "It's really nice for me seeing it through someone else's eyes as well, going round everything like, "Oh my God".

Viewers of Monday night's I'm A Celebrity will see Emily try to win stars for camp as she navigates around hundreds of snakes in underground chambers.

After making her debut, Holly joined Scarlett Moffatt, Joel Dommatt and Joe Swash on the spin-off show Extra Camp, and revealed her "relief" at making it through the broadcast with no problems. "I've been here a long time now", Dec said.

Holly added: "It's so lovely, there was no one in at that point, there was no chaos of the celebrities, it was just peaceful, it was sort of magical".

"I'd like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year".

Dec then said that they'd got the wrong script and went on to add: "Nobody was sure if you would make it or not!"
