The test is available on all platforms and you can choose which one to sign up for - PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

Meanwhile, as Wccftech spotted, the signup process reveals the PC system requirements, although these may simply be early goalposts and might not represent the final spec needed for the game.

So no posting, no sharing, no streaming, no nothin'-but you are welcome to share feedback in EA's (hidden, sorry to say) playtester forums.

You can read the full details about the Anthem closed alpha here. EA is asking fans to prepare their rigs for the coming Alpha testing sessions for Anthem. If you have, you'll get a confirmation from the EA Community Playtesting site and an email with download instructions.

Choose your platform and time. Once your choices are completed, click Submit.

Sign-ups are now live, and you can register your interest here. BioWare also points out that signing up to be a tester doesn't necessarily mean that you'll be invited to become one, so temper your expectations if you do decide to register.

"These Community Playtests are more limited than what we want to share in the pre-launch demos", EA wrote. As a result, throughout Anthem's development, the studio has continued to reassure the community that it hears the demand for more Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

"Anthem" sounds a lot like "Destiny" - a first-person shooter with a persistent online world - except it has jetpacks!

"Anthem" is coming to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on February 22, 2019. As a reminder the general release date for Anthem is 22 Feb, but this date moves forward to 15 Feb for Origin Access and EA Access members. It has not yet been rated.
