Rocksteady Rules Out Appearance at The Game Awards 2018

The studio, well-known for their work on the acclaimed Batman Arkham series that includes Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight, has been developing a new game for some time now. The developer has insisted that it's done with Batman, but we have very few clues as to what's next. For years at this point, rumors have swirled that Rocksteady's next project will be related to Superman, the classic DC superhero.

Ahead of next week's Game Awards, there has been speculation that Warner Bros. and Rocksteady would use the show to reveal the next game.


Sefton Hill, Game Director and co-founder at Rocksteady Games, has confirmed that their title will not be present at this year's Video Games Award event. Despite saying that he is looking forward to The Game Awards, Hill said that Rocksteady will not be participating. According to Kotaku's Jason Schreier, Rocksteady is now developing a hero game that will be a Games as a Service (GaaS).
