Marouane Fellaini pulls Matteo Guendouzi's hair

Unai Emery has joked that Matteo Guendouzi should cut his extravagant hair if he wants to avoid a repeat of Wednesday's night hair-pulling incident with Marouane Fellaini.

Fellaini will not face retrospective action for the foul, and Emery saw the amusing side by suggesting Guendouzi could follow in the Belgian's footsteps and get a new haircut.

"I think the best thing for the next match is for Matteo to cut his hair", Emery laughed. "I respect a lot the players' hair and [hair] colour".

'I think there is a bit of jealousy there, ' Guendouzi told RMC Sports in the mixed zone after the game (via Metro Sport).

He could, then, be forced to watch United's clash with Fulham on Saturday from the sidelines as Jose Mourinho's team look to end a run of four league games without a win. Today with the camera all the situations happening in the 90 minutes, everyone can see.

Emery said Rob Holding was still being assessed after suffering a knee injury at United but fears the defender is facing a lengthy spell out.
