Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson has been fined $15,000 by the National Basketball Association "for making an inappropriate gesture toward a spectator" during Monday night's win in Brooklyn, the league announced on Friday.

Tristan is in the midst of his five-year contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, which is reportedly worth $82 million.

Thompson, 27, flipped the middle finger to hecklers in the stands at the Barclays Center, as seen in footage obtained by TMZ.

He finished the night with 19 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in just 34 minutes. They face the Sacramento Kings in the early hours on Friday morning.

The NBA announced the fine, which stemmed from Monday's clash that Cleveland won.
