As controversy rages around the latest episode of Koffee With Karan and the inappropriate and sexist comments made by cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul, the channel, Star World, has chose to pull off the episode from Hotstar.

KJo is known to have candid, and often controversial, conversations on his chat show Koffee With Karan but the latest episode crossed a line.

And now the recent update on that front is that, Hardik Pandya may have to face two match ban wherein he wouldn't be allowed to perform for two of them. "As a responsible platform, we have removed the episode from Hotstar with immediate effect".

A representative of Star World confirmed to HT that the channel has deleted the episode from Hotstar.

Hardik Pandya had taken on Twitter on Wednesday for apologizing for his comments on the show.

On the show, Pandya narrated an incident where he was out partying with his parents and revealed that he had told his parents about the women he had a "scene" with. "You are just watching and observing how they move as I said I am a little from the black side (influenced by West Indies culture) so I have to see how they (women) move first", he said.

"At a party, my parents asked me, 'Acha tera wala kaun sa hai [Which women are yours]? While Rahul chose the sensible answer, "[It's] up to the woman", the outspoken Pandya chimed in: "Nahi nahi, aisa kuch nahi hai. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. The duo faced major backlash on social media.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli spoke out regarding the matter in the pre-match press conference ahead of India's first ODI against Australia in Sydney.

The Indian cricketer also said that his family was cool with his sexual activities. Hardik is presently in Australia along with the Indian cricket team where they have won a historic Test series against Australia.
