At the event, the company is expected to launch its Galaxy S10 smartphone series and might also launch its first foldable smartphone, which according to earlier reports will be named Galaxy Fold. After the Note 7, Samsung introduced an 8-point battery safety check for manufacturing so it's unlikely we'll see a repeat of those issues. No bezels, no physical notches for the front-facing camera, all the space for a rounded screen. Besides the price drop, Samsung also offers $300 off instantly for trade-ins.

The leaks to the next Galaxy generation, the S10, are getting more and more accurate thanks to some mishaps on the side of Samsung and more reliable sources. This image of the Galaxy S10 was first spotted by a Reddit user named qgtx.

Numbers were present at the bottom of each that seemingly discussed the mAh capacity of each pack. He also met Google CEO Sundar Pichai two months ago and formed a taskforce for foldable phone's UX.

The outlet also declared the device in question will have the ability to wirelessly charge other devices that sit on its rear, similar to the functionality now offered by the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Galaxy S10 Plus might not be the largest device this year as reports suggest that the Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy S10 Bolt will both feature a 6.7-inch display larger than Galaxy S10 Plus's 6.3-inch display. Only on a few rare occasions has the company unveiled the handset at a separate Unpacked event.

However, the publication insisted the 5G S10 will only launch in the US and South Korea.

However, such a claim has not been confirmed by Samsung itself.

Samsung believes that these high-bandwidth chips will power up AI-powered applications and 5G phones which could mean that only the 5G-enabled Galaxy S10 will benefit from the new memory.

Express.co.uk will be covering the exhibition live.
