Fury propelled back into the heavyweight limelight with a stunning performance against Deontay Wilder at the end of 2018, but while that monster Heavyweight clash was declared a draw, the boxing world believed Fury was the victor and that he should've snapped the WBC belt away from the American's grasp.

A confident Fury said: "I've already beaten Wilder, so that's one down, and I'd do the same to Joshua if given the chance, but I don't think it's going to happen".

A fight between two British fighters may not happen if Tyson Fury does not win the rematch between Deontay Wilder later this year.

Fury believes he should have been awarded the victory - and many observers agree with him.

The venue is looking like the US.

The problem might come with the United States network side of things but surely networks could work together to make such a big fight like they did in the past for the likes of Mayweather vs Pacquiao and Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson.

Tyson was disappointed with the judging with the last fight, as I was, so a lot of things need to be sorted.

Fury's compatriot Anthony Joshua, holder of the remaining three major world belts in boxing's blue riband division, has been linked with a bout against either of the pair when he returns to action at Wembley on April 13. I wouldn't want to go back to California, I didn't like working with the Californian commission and there were a lot of things we didn't like there.

Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren and bitter London rival promoter Eddie Hearn and indeed his father and fellow Hall of Famer like Warren, Barry Hearn - are all at one another's throats as the new year begins in boxing and the heavyweight landscape comes to life once again.

As Fury demonstrated in the Wilder fight, not only is he a tremendously skilled boxer, he can take a hit and get back up.

"He went to Germany to fight Wladimir Klitschko and he went to America to fight Wilder".
