Admitedly, Game of Thrones fans won't need much to get excited, but the 90-second teaser delivers in a way only fans of the epic show will fully appreciate.

We know Game of Thrones season eight is like "six movies". The six-episode season will begin on April 14, 2019, so if there is no break during the season, the series finale will air sometime in May.

We knew the show would return in April of this year, but tonight HBO revealed that the final season of Game of Thrones will officially premiere on April 14, 2019. In the teaser we see Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) walk into the crypt one by one.

The preview for the last episodes in the adaptation of "A Song of Ice and Fire" shows the surviving Stark children walking the tombs of Winterfell, looking at the memorials to their deceased mother and father.

It's official! This April is going to be a memorable one to say the least.

The three statues speak to Jon.

Jon, Sansa and Arya meet at the end of the crypt, where they come face to face with statues of their own.

"Season 8 episodes will all I think be longer than 60 minutes", Nutter said. The feather takes us back to the very first season of "Game of Thrones" when Robert Baratheon visited these same crypts and left it there on Lyanna's grave because she was the only woman he ever truly loved.

The final season video includes new footage, sort of.
