In the 90-second teaser, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) meet in Winderfell's underground crypt, where they look at the statues of their ancestors.

The teaser-trailer doesn't offer much in terms of spoilers for the season but it certainly gave us chills.

Based on the six-episode run, the final episode of Game of Thrones will air in Australia on Monday, May 20. HBO shared the news on Sunday, just before the season premiere of True Detective.

As they stop at the end of the tunnel, they are faced with three statues that look almost identical to them.

HBO released a teaser for Game of Thrones Season 8 that likely holds a lot of clues for the upcoming season, just like the Season 7 teaser did. A variety of tidbits have been revealed, including that there will be six super-sized episodes, perhaps as long as movies.

The Indian viewers will be able to watch the season 8 premiere on April 15, 2019, either on Hotstar or Star World. There, they come across the statues of Lyanna Stark, Catelyn Stark and Ned Stark.

Probably one of the highlights of the teaser was when both Jon and Arya draw their swords and went forward to protect Sansa. Technically, Jon's real name is Aegon Targaryen but he is a Stark by blood thanks to his mother Lyanna. Hoping this third installment is more like the fantastic first season. However, in Game of Thrones terms, that doesn't necessarily means they will die. "Winterfell is yours", Sansa said in the scene.
