Cardi B made history at Sunday night's Grammy Awards - and understandably got pretty emotional. Lauryn Hill won as a member of the hip-hop group Fugees in 1997. And that's exactly what she did in her spicy as hell performance of "Money". During her speech, the rapper, taking the stage with Offset, teared up while talking about her pregnancy and daughter, who was born this past July.

"The nerves are so bad".

While some fans didn't appreciate Cardi being walked to the stage by her husband (?) Offset, the crowd was all ears as Cardi thanked her team, her supportive family, and her baby Kulture, who arrived shortly after Cardi's album did.

"I want to thank my daughter", she said.

Offset's debut album will come two months after The New York Times reported it would be released: on the rapper's 27th birthday, December 14. "Cause he was like, 'Oh, you're gonna do this album, girl".

She spoke about her album not being finished when she found out she was pregnant and filming a music video before she started showing. "And it was very long nights".

Heading into the evening, Cardi B was nominated for seven awards across major categories, including Album of The Year and Record of the Year for her chart-topping single, "I Like It".
