Woman’s abduction from Miami auto shop was domestic violence-related

Miami police say a woman seen in a surveillance video being violently abduction has been found safe and in good condition.

The man can then be seen physically attacking the woman, as he forces her into the vehicle, before driving away.

According to investigators, the woman was taken Friday night outside of La Ceiba Tire Shop, located off Northwest 36th Street, near 22nd Avenue, in Miami's Allapattah neighborhood. "She told me, 'He's going to kill me'". Witnesses say the man from the auto hit the woman about 20 times, before forcing her into the vehicle.

One witness told CBS Miami the woman was hit dozens of times during the apparent abduction.

"He wanted her to drive the vehicle, so he put her in the driver's seat", said the witness.


"We need your assistance identifying the female depicted in the video", police said.

"This is someone's daughter this is someone's sister, this is someone's family member", Miami police officials said in a Facebook post.

Cruz also said that the department does not "know the whereabouts of this young lady". "We need to apprehend this individual; we need to bring this young lady back home to safety". His Nissan Altima, described as a 2015 or newer, had a paper tag that had partial number of either "CFJ7" or "CFF7".
