Brian Robbins said that the reboot would offer a "mash-up" of sorts with a combination of old and new sketches. We're not sure yet if Thompson will also star on the show in some capacity, but the All That and Saturday Night Live veteran should act as a great mentor for up-and-coming comedians, even if he's putting his SNL duties first. Now, the kid-friendly network is going to revive the series, and its bringing back a former cast member to help it along. Variety reports that not only is a revival in the works, but that series star and breakout Kenan Thompson will be on board as an executive producer.

As for the content, fans will undoubtedly want to know which ones will be back.

Thompson, who is now the the longest-tenured cast member on Saturday Night Live, will not be quitting his day job but plans to be involved as much as his time allows. So we could be looking at the next generation of comedy stars.

Thompson, who is the longest-running "SNL" cast member (and highly regarded by his colleagues there), was one of the early cast members of "All That", alongside performers like Lori Beth Denberg, Josh Server and Kel Mitchell.

If this news has you feeling nostalgic for the original All That series, you can buy each season on Amazon Prime for $5.99 each right now. Thompson added that he and Robbins have remained close ever since, saying the opportunity to produce was a "no-brainer". Otherwise, we'll let you know when the All That revival is coming to Nickelodeon.
