Redmi Note 7 Pro goes on sale in India

It is already been confirmed that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be launched in China on March 18.

As per a recent teaser that was shared by the company on Weibo, there could be many other product launches at the event next week.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 675 Octa-core processor making it the first device with this chipset in India. After the Note 7 sold out in just a couple of minutes at its first sale, it is now Note 7 Pro's turn to test the water.

As seen in leaks before, the smartphone features slim bezels, a huge chin, waterdrop notch, dual rear camera setup and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. Both the phones will be made available on sale at 12 noon through Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores across the country.

Launch offers on the Redmi Note 7 Pro include up to 1,120GB of 4G data, unlimited voice calling, and Airtel Thanks benefits specifically for Airtel customers. Also, Redmi Note 7 Pro is the first Redmi Note device to offer a type-C port and it also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 out of the box. The highlight of the Redmi Note 7 Pro is a 48MP Sony IMX586 camera sensor, a Snapdragon 675 processor and the glass back.

The mid-range phone has dual cameras (12MP+2MP) on the back and a 13MP selfie camera. There is a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor and a 13-megapixel camera sensor at the front for selfies. It also offers 4K video recording. Redmi Note 7 is available in three colour options: Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue, and Ruby Red.

Both smartphones run Android Pie 9 with Xiaomi's MIUI 10 custom ROM running atop and are backed by 4,000mAh batteries.
