The Broncos have agreed to terms on a three-year deal worth $33 million with defensive back Kareem Jackson, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports. But Roby is a decent Plan B at cornerback.

Bradley Roby at Arrowhead Stadium on October 28, 2018. Roby signed a one-year, $10-million contract with Houston on Tuesday, per sources. However, that didn't quite work out in Denver as Roby struggled in 2018.

"Pritchard and Cecil" co-host Cecil Lammey lauded Denver for "finally" make its first free agency move, also touting Jackson's ability to play both safety and cornerback.

Roby has appeared in 79 games for the Broncos in his tenure, starting in 29 of them and collecting 238 combined tackles, seven interceptions, two returned for touchdowns, 60 pass breakups, seven forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries, one returned for a touchdown. He has playoff experience and was part of Denver's Super Bowl 50 championship team.

Jackson was also credited with 17 passes defended, tied for 3rd in the National Football League, while Roby was credited with 12. Although it remains to be seen of how Roby fits into the Texans defense, the general perspective is that the 2018 season was viewed as just an inconvenient down year for the 5-11 cornerback.
