NBC said Thursday that a new show, titled A Little Late with Lilly Singh, will air at 1:35 a.m. EDT beginning in September, a slot now occupied by Last Call With Carson Daly.

Singh's show will be called A Little Late with Lilly Singh, airing weekdays at 1:35 a.m., after Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show and Seth Meyers' Late Night, from September 2019.

With the hire, Lilly will become the only woman to host a late night talk show on the Big 4 networks: ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox.

"I'm so honored and humbled", Singh continued.

Continuing her career-long trend of breaking boundaries, Singh's hosting position will make her the only woman now helming a late-night show on any of the four big US networks, according to Variety.

Singh's new show, titled A Little Late With Lilly Singh, will feature her conducting in-studio interviews, along with creating and starring in pre-taped comedy sketches and other "signature segments", per the network.

As a guest on Thursday night's Tonight Show, Singh shares the good news with fellow NBC late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers. "I get to make it inclusive. and create something I really believe in", Singh previewed, hinting that the series will be similar to her popular YouTube channel. "Now that is a dream come true", Singh said. "I'm thrilled to bring it to life on NBC, and I hope my parents consider this to be as exciting as a grandchild".

"I'm numb. I can't even process. No matter how many "boxes" you check, I encourage you to do the same".

Two weeks ago Singh also made headlines by announcing she is bisexual, noting that as a bisexual female person of color that "throughout my life these have proven to be obstacles from time to time".

In 2017, she was ranked tenth on the Forbes list of the world's highest paid YouTube stars.

The announcement comes a month after NBC said Last Call with Carson Daly was ending.

Her acting credits include HBO's movie Fahrenheit 451, Bad Moms and Ice Age: Collision Course.

NBC has found its replacement for Carson Daly.

In February, Singh made headlines when she publicly announced she is bisexual. There's so many people to thank and I will do so over the next few (or hundred) posts.
