The suspects are believed to have been involved in the killing and dismembering of Khashoggi, a Middle East Eye and Washington Post columnist, inside Saudi Arabia's Istanbul consulate on 2 October, Turkish Daily Sabah reported.

President of Saudi Arabia's Human Rights Commission (HRC), Dr. Bandar al-Aiban, has said the Kingdom brought perpetrators of Khashoggi murder to justice and they have attended three hearings with their lawyers.

Last November, the Saudi PPO announced the indictment of 11 suspects in Khashoggi's murder, and later stated that 10 more individuals were under investigation.

After countries around the world, including every European Union member nation, encouraged Saudi Arabia to cooperate with an global investigation into the Washington Post journalist's death, Bandar bin Mohammed al-Aiban responded Thursday, saying his country already took care of everything. He gave no names or details. After eventually acknowledging the murder, Saudi officials continued their denials this time over the alleged guilt of the royal family and the crown prince, saying that they had no prior knowledge of the murder, although all evidence has pointed to the crown prince as the mastermind.

His killing in October caused tensions to soar between the USA and Saudi Arabia, with members of Congress saying they believed the crown prince was behind the operation, an allegation the Saudi government has denied.

He said the kingdom would not accept what he termed as foreign interference in its domestic affairs and judicial system.

"Justice in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia operates pursuant to worldwide law and it does so in all transparency, " al-Aiban told the forum, right before adding that the Kingdom would not accept any "foreign interference" in its "domestic affairs or judicial system".

Agnes Callamard, the UN's special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, was in Turkey in late January to probe what happened to the journalist.
