Presumably, this is going to be called Sniper Elite 5, but at the moment, details are relatively scarce. Sniper Elite V2 is due this year and Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition is coming this year too.

On the upcoming front, Rebellion had plenty to mention, but not much to show.

The news comes from a Sniper Elite Development Update video, where Rebellion's CEO and co-founder Jason Kingsley confirmed that four games are now in development for the tactical shooter franchise: Sniper Elite V2 Remastered (the original, of which, actually appeared on Wii U back in the day), Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition especially for Switch, a new, standalone Sniper Elite game for VR devices, and the next major title in the series as a follow-up to Sniper Elite 4.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered (PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch), Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition (Switch), and Sniper Elite VR are all slated to come out sometime in 2019. The remaster will offer enhanced graphics, 4K resolution with HDR display, a new photo mode, an expanded multiplayer, and of course all the content of the first game.

If you're new to Sniper Elite III you can now enjoy the same award-winning sniping but now with 9 additional DLC packs - including 3 new campaign missions - all for a great new price. Those games are as follows, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered and Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition.

The new Sniper Elite title now in development with the first details to be revealed sometime in 2020. You can check out a trailer for the game, here. It will feature all content ever released for the title, ported over to the Nintendo console. Still early but further along in production was Sniper Elite VR - they're not ready to confirm hardware support yet, but they were demoing it with a PSVR headset.
