Neymar is set to be investigated by UEFA following his comments in the aftermath of Paris Saint-Germain's elimination from the Champions League. "They put 4 people that know nothing about football in charge of looking at the replay for VAR".

The Brazilian used Instagram to aim an expletive and insults at video review officials who intervened before Man United was awarded a stoppage-time penalty for handball that eliminated PSG.

Neymar blasted ref Damir Skomina's late penalty decision on Instagram, going on strongly on VAR too.

"How do you handball behind your back?"

Uefa has launched an investigation into Neymar's angry comments about the penalty awarded to Manchester United in their Champions League victory over Paris St Germain. "Ahh. go f*ck yourselves".

In June, Neymar's teammate Gianluigi Buffon was slapped with a three-match ban from European competition after a live-on-TV tirade against referee Michael Oliver following his former club Juventus' similarly dramatic quarter-final defeat to Real Madrid last season.

Neymar was watching injured as United overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit.

PSG's next fixture is against Marseille in Ligue 1 on Sunday before a clash against Toulouse on March 31 following the global break.
