Sony did not detail what exactly to expect in the first episode, but it promises it will showcase "upcoming PS4 and PS VR software, including new trailers, new game announcements and new gameplay footage". Sony plans to broadcast it on pretty much everything, and you can catch it as soon as it begins with the Twitch embed below.

A new live show from PlayStation, dubbed State of Play, will launch on March 25th at 2:00 pm PT/5 pm ET. In addition, as teased by the PlayStation Blog, "new game announcements" are also on the cards.

Dreams Creator Early Access was announced back in February with a release window of "spring".

State of Play will be returning "throughout the year" with additional updates and announcements, likely at various intervals rather than regularly scheduled dates. The stream begins in the afternoon United States time, as outlined below.

Microsoft, however, will still be in attendance, and Nintendo will continue its recent tradition of hosting a flagship Nintendo Direct stream as opposed to a full-scale press conference.

How frequently PlayStation intends to host State of Play remains unknown.
