Directing any movie is a big deal, but directing a Star Wars movie is an even bigger deal. Disney and LucasFilms are looking to take center stage this weekend in Chicago.

In numerous new Marvel Star Wars comics - especially the Darth Vader arcs - exiled Jedi can only continue their training in the ways of the Force by finding ancient teachings in long-abandoned Jedi temples. Lucasfilm and Kennedy have enough faith in Johnson that they are still continuing with having him create a new Star Wars trilogy. Soon, we will be able to use the real title, with it being expected to be revealed on Friday. LucasFilms and Disney could be waiting until the last minute to announce to avoid any potential spoilers.

Disney will release "Star Wars: Episode IX" in theaters nationwide on December 20. They're working that up, and I'm just chugging away on it, and I can't wait to get back into it. Then again, it looks like it could be from a more primitive version of the weapon. The streaming service is to have all of their properties, including their movies, on it. Disney's streaming service, Disney Plus, might have a new series centered around Boba Fett.

That's not lost on the person responsible for that monumental task, J.J. Abrams, who previously made Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Star Wars Celebration starts Friday, and we will be inundated with all kinds of things.

Respawn isn't stopping there, however, as there's also a Jedi Fallen Order teaser released by Respawn as well. With EA and Respawn's tweet saying "don't stand out" referencing the character's need to stay hidden. If you've watched Episode III, you would know that Order 66 was declared by Senator Palpatine that identified all the Jedi as traitors to the "Galactic Republic".

A badly damaged lightsaber hilt sits atop ancient symbols from a bygone age, emanating a faint blue glow reminiscent of the power the elegant weapon once held. It takes place Saturday April 13 at 11:30am Pacific; a live stream should be available on the Star Wars YouTube channel.
